Do you remember the posting about the traditional Jewish head coverings, and how each different type signifies a different stream within...well here we have three different people, expressing their identity in their own way, each with a different choice of head covering. (Obviously based only on the various visual cues available - I unfortunately didn't get a chance to chat to them.)
What's also interesting is their choice of instruments. On the extreme right hand side is an Arabic instrument known as an Ud - as in wood, should, Jonny Be... The others I have no information what so ever, but I have an inkling they are from

The guy in the middle is quite obviously playing a satellite dish. Although not a 'traditional' instrument in terms of age, these have sprouted up all over the region so they are a symbol of something that people of all politics share. It's interesting that he has chosen an unbranded one as this allows him to appeal to tv fans of all backgrounds.

I have seen once this 'Wok' instrument played on the street of Cologne and it was very interesting! But don't know where they came from.
the guy in the middle plays ( almost sure about it ) a drum which is played in persian music , i know people that own such drums. they have deep echo.
On the right, an instrument from holland, no idea about it's name but the sound is lovely
